The Board of Directors has retained Elliott & Associates Attorneys to appeal the real estate taxes of all units in our association for the upcoming triennial assessment period.  Illinois law allows condominium associations to file collective tax appeals on behalf of all unit owners. Collective appeals are preferred by the assessing officials because they are efficient and result in uniform assessments.
 
There is nothing you need to do.  Elliott & Associates will obtain the new assessments directly from the Assessor, file appeal(s) on a timely basis, and keep our Board informed as events progress.
