Joanne P. Elliott is a partner of Elliott & Associates Attorneys, P.C. where she has practiced exclusively in the real estate tax area since 1992.   Joanne has secured over $30 Million in tax savings for her clients.

Throughout her career, Joanne has been actively involved in leadership capacities in several trade associations, including the American Bar Association, where she was a member of the Real Estate Section Council, the Illinois State Bar Association, the International Association of Assessing Officials and the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.  Joanne is a past chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association State and Local Taxation Section Council.  She is currently the Executive Director of the National Association of Bar-Related® Title Insurers®, and a member of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.

Joanne is a frequent author and lecturer on real estate tax issues.  She has written various chapters for the Illinois Institute Of Continuing Legal Education, she has been a guest speaker at various programs for the International Association of Assessing, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.

Joanne received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School, where she was a member of their Law Review.
